PERFORMANCE

Lee Evatt's (Boy Gentle) performances combine traditional ballet technique with drag. His work often references classical ballets such as Swan Lake, Rite of Spring, Petrushka and Bolero and recontextualises and queerifies it within a nightclub setting. Evatt has more recently be interested in extending his performance and has been learning puppetry and mask dancing.
